Meet The Doctor

Dr. Sam Smiley was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the Dental School at the University of Washington, where he also completed his Master's degree in Periodontics. During his educational career, he was awarded numerous awards and academic scholarships. Before starting his periodontic practice in Seattle, Dr. Smiley served two years in the Peace Corps, working with young families in Trinidad and Tobago.

Dr. Smiley belongs to many organizations and study groups including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the King County Dental Society. He stays updated in his specialty by attending continuing education classes in order to provide the best treatment available to his patients.

When he is not working, Dr. Smiley enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons. In the summer months, you will find him kayaking, waterskiing, and rock climbing. And in the winter, he enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing. He is an active member of his community and regularly sponsors activities for local Boy and Girl Scout troops.
